I built it because I kept doing the same thing over and over: taking a plain screenshot of an app or website and wanting it to look like something worth sharing - on a landing page, in an App Store listing, on Product Hunt, in a LinkedIn post. Opening a full design tool for a five-second tilt-and-shadow felt like overkill, so I built the tool I actually wanted to use.
I'm Daniel Petrevski, a UI/UX designer. Perspecto is independently built and maintained - there's no team, no outside funding, just a product I use myself and keep improving based on what people who use it actually need.
Perspecto runs entirely in your browser. Your images are never uploaded to a server - the 3D rendering, the shadows, the export, all of it happens on your own device. You can read exactly what that means for your data on the Privacy Policy page.
