Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

Perspecto is built to need as little of your data as possible. You can use the free version without creating an account. This page explains what data is involved when you do, in plain language.

Your images and designs

Whatever you upload into Perspecto - a screenshot, a design, anything - is processed entirely in your own browser. The 3D rendering, shadows, and export all happen on your device. Your images are never uploaded to, or stored on, Perspecto's servers. We simply never see them.

Text and fonts

Text you type in Text mode is handled the same way: it's turned into shapes in your own browser and never sent to us. The built-in fonts are downloaded from perspecto.io itself - not from Google or any other font service - so no third party sees what you type. Fonts you upload are kept in your browser's own storage on this device until you remove them (Font → Yours), and fonts you pick from your computer are read on your device and never stored or uploaded. If you share a link to a text mockup, the text and its styling are written into the link itself.

Analytics

Perspecto uses Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to understand overall usage - which pages get visited, which features get used, roughly how many people use the tool. This is aggregated, anonymized usage data. It never includes your images or anything you create with them.

Cookies

Google Analytics may set cookies in your browser to distinguish one visitor from another. You can block or clear these through your browser's own settings at any time.

Purchases and license keys

Perspecto Pro purchases are processed by Polar.sh, an independent payment processor. Perspecto does not directly collect or store your payment card details - Polar's own privacy policy governs how they handle that information.

Once you activate a license key, your Pro status is stored locally in your browser's storage, not on Perspecto's servers. Activating a license key sends the key to our server, which confirms it with Polar. Along with it we send a random device ID that Perspecto creates in your browser - it contains nothing about you or your device, and exists only so a license can be used on up to 3 devices. About once a day, Perspecto re-checks an activated key the same way, so a refunded or revoked key stops working. Your images and designs are never sent.

Free Pro trial (your email)

If you choose to try Pro for free, you give us your email address so we can send you a one-time code. We store your email, when the trial started and how many trial exports are left, so each email gets one trial. The code email is sent through Resend, and the trial record is kept with Upstash. Your images and designs are still never sent anywhere - only your email is.

We only send you news and offers if the box for it is ticked when you start the trial. In most countries it starts unticked and you choose to tick it; in the United States it starts ticked and you can untick it before continuing. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your email at any time by writing to hello@danielpetrevski.com.

Data retention

Since most of what Perspecto stores lives in your own browser (your Pro status, saved presets, export counts, fonts you've uploaded), clearing your browser's site data removes it. Analytics data is retained according to Google's and Vercel's standard retention settings.

Children's privacy

Perspecto is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
